Fishing was slow as it was the wrong tide for fishing, so rather than waiting for a better tide, we went bugging instead. As luck would have it, we found Grouper on the first two spots we visited. Couldn't ask for better weather!  Did have a surprise visit from a nice Cuda on 12# gear, so we'll have plenty of bait for tomorrow

Do you eat the cuda?  I always thought they were loaded with Ciguatera?

He said he was going to use it for bait. But I did have an inshore guide in Panama City tell me they loved to eat cuda. He said they didn’t have ciguatera up our way. I saw a guy cleaning a big one in panacea a few weeks back.
