SI Night Trip Swordfish Success

Went out 8/17 with my son for our second attempt at drifting the deep. Caught a bucket list fish and made some memories of a lifetime with my son. Left the dock just after noon and headed out on flat glass water. Very hot if not moving so attempted to do some trolling without luck. Plan was to get out to the 1200 - 1300 ft area early and set up in daylight, the storms did not cooperate.. Ended up finally getting out there just after 8pm and with much more chop. By 11pm had this guy in the boat after a nice 45 minute tug of war. 57 inches fork to jaw and a little over 75 lbs.
