I'm getting treated to my first ever charter trip for my birthday. There will be 4-5 of us looking for 4-6 hours. One friend and I have been fishing most of our lives from shore, so not newbies. The others would be pretty green. I would like recommendations on ethical, responsible captains in Palm Beach, Broward, or Miami-Dade. No boats that keep sailfish, charge extra for bait once you're on board, or pressure us to get mounts. I want a reputable captain with good ethics. I'm interested in any of the following species in no particular order sailfish, tarpon, sharks, tuna, cobia, permit, wahoo, dolphin, jewfish. It's more important to keep lines bent or get a few very fun fights (ie: sharks, jewfish, sailfish). This will be Labor Day weekend so it's pretty last minute. Who would FS forum members recommend?

Fish on my own boat but never turn down a group deal with him. For the price you see, he catches 3 +40 gallon live well of live bait. Mostly pilchards, greenies, glass minnows. The +1000 live bait on board will live Chum around the boat and you can throw fly or spinners. This is something I can’t create on my boat. You gotta see the amount of life that comes right up to the boat every time he throws a net full of live bait chum. He has +6 fly rods all sage. Spinners generally bait runners or slammers, drop for mutton and he’s got a pair of 8 foot rods on those awesome talica 8 reels. Recommend 8 hrs with him. My worse experience was hooking an amberjack right next to the boat on the fly rod #10.
