Pecks Lake offshore

We headed out the inlet in very calm seas looking for a kingfish. We went to clear water and found lots of bait fish. We managed to catch four Atlantic Sharpnose sharks. We then went by the inlet and caught a bluefish and a barricuda. We headed in around noon before the weather turned (I didn't want to press our luck). We had a lot of fun maybe next time we will catch a kingfish.

Congrats on getting out. Does not sound like you went out very far. Typically kings will be found on or near the reef, the 6 mile reef in like 70-100' or so.
