Tues @ The Pass better!

Launched @ 7am, water temp 82.6f.
Out to the beach for some topwater action and was not disappointed. 2 snooklets @ 22" and 2 trout @ 17". Did have some major blow-ups but only hooked 2 only for them to become unbuttoned.
Morgan River slow except for short mango's.
A few more places resulted in short trout and a few jacks. Was surprised by the absence of ladyfish! Wanted a couple for chunking in the mangroves and headed to a couples spots which usually hold them. Nope.
A better day with clear water early turning quite turbid as the tide went out. Minimal boats and glad it was a Tues and not a weekend zoo day.
Talked with the girlfriend to fish Tues and take next weekend off. Good decision with the anticipated storm coming Sat/Sun.
Until next time, be safe. Still looking for employment, but understand the many reasons for the minimal opportunities at this time.
