Ran from st Augustine pier to red tops today, nothing. The wind has been awful. I found threadfins inside. Two flounder and a jack attack was all for me today. This weather sucks
No bait yesterday on the beach in Jax. Slow trolled cigar minnows at MR 0-1 on kings didn't mark many. The only mark i saw we had a run off. The treble hook must of came undone while trolling it was a steady 3 ft with an occasional 4 in the afternoon once that SE wind picked up.
Well see how the weekend plays out water was pretty green and temp was 75
We decided to give it a go this morning. Went out to the beach looking for bait. After about 1 1/2 hours with no luck, we decided to head offshore with frozen mullet. We trolled 9 mile for 3 1/2 hours. No strikes nor did we see any bait balls with Bonita. Came back in to troll the beach for some Spanish. Located a couple of schools but never got any to bite. Pretty sad day a Fishing, but it was better than being in the office 🤷🏽♂️

I saw the bonita in 42 ft of water SE if the inlet. Threw everything at them, top water plug, bucktail, even trolled some spoons around the frenzy... not one bite.
Very scary day. Plan was pogies and kings. Ran out around 9am. Inlet was messy. Ran north 8 miles, no pelicans, no bait. Big big swells. Ran back to inlet. Took 40 minutes to get through the inlet. Outgoing tide, big push from seas in and lots of wind. Crazy trailing sea. We had the life jackets on.. got in and fooled around in icw with no luck. May was terrible for us.
Dang, i was going in the morning but none of that sounds good. This time last year at 4 mile out of st aug you couldn't beat the kings off with a stick they were so thick.
I went Wednesday and had no luck, too rough to go 20 miles solo. Found a good school of Spanish near the beach but couldn’t get a bite going to try again this weekend
Wow, that's all super depressing. I'm hoping to go out tomorrow with my mom, who's coming down from SC. Sounds like nothing for nobody these days. I hope it lays down a little tonight. Looking like 3' @ 8s tomorrow. Not horrible, but not great, either. If anyone went today, let us know if we need to stay home. Lol.

Team Buck Rogers caught 5 keeper kings today nearshore id presume, no bait to be reported, and not a congregated bite but they still did better than we have seen so looking promising this weekend
Went on Sunday 5-24 left out of saint Augustine no bait to the Flagler pier. My cousin ran mayport to matanzes inlet with nothing. This hard blow for two weeks has messed up lot of inshore fishing.
