Bass spots in Tampa?

Looks like the wind is going to pick up today and ruin any chance of offshore fishing. 

Can anyone recommend bass spots that you can fish from shore?

Most any of the retention ponds around the area will hold bass.  The ones with the "No Fishing" or No Trespassing" signs are the best

Correct. Most any retention pond is stocked with bass in a neighborhood. Catching them on almost every cast yesterday in my neighborhood in Apollo Beach...small but plenty of them
