    Great shot.  I almost missed the female, then wondered how I could've.  :-)

    20 years ago I made 7 annual trips to Guerrero Ne-g-ro, (they censored that) Baja California Sur to go on Whale Watching trips.  The Mexican gov't puts up nest platforms for the Ospreys and there are lots and lots of them.  Makes it interesting driving around the salt flats.  I got some good pics down there, but none like that.

    These are in a box also,but the nest is so grown up you can't see it.

    This was the same spot last year.A Bald Eagle was flying over,so the young one laid down and used the camo on it's back to hide.Mean while the adult spread its wings to help cover up the little one.
