Fish ID

Fishing a small pond in my neighborhood. Caught this using a bread ball on, like 2-pound test, and a willowy little rod. It was about 12 inches long. and fought like a big bass. Any ideas??? 
Also caught a nice blue tilapia the same night using the same bait (second picture).

    I think it's another tilapia.  Here's a Mayan cichlid and a tilapia for comparison.

Could be a Nile Tilapia.

No teeth on the bottom that I remember

After talking to some people around here, I'm thinking another tilapia. Maybe a Mozambique tilapia because of the red coloring...?

Probably a tilapia, has a strange mouth though.    ?

No teeth rules out Mayan cyclid.
