I'm guesing, if you ask nice, Melissa will let you put in at Whiddens. For a fee of course. Sylvester might let you put in at Eldreds, maybe.
That Placida boat ramp can get so crowded at times Elreds or Whiddens wouldn't have enough room to accommodate all that would ask to pay to launch at either. Just an after thought - may start watching for price gouging at these private ramps in any of the closed counties. Betting if a usual and customary $10 launch fee suddenly goes to $25 or $50 it may fit the statute.

While I dont think closing the boat ramps should be necessary, the mere fact that people continue to flock to sand bars and raft off to each other tells me that we may Have to close them since people cant follow simple instructions. IF your going out to fish or going for a cruise, i dont see any issue with it. Heres to hoping Lee County doesnt close ours down....
