Anglers Edge bait shop closed

Long time bait shop on the Placida Road closed weeks ago.
I knew that Jim, the owner was in bad health.
A new roof has been installed, but don't know what the future will be.

That's too bad.  I hope Jim is OK.  It was always our first stop when getting into town.

I knew Jim for years.  He had health issues.

My understanding is that Jim retired and a roofing company has bought the property.

There has been a lot of activity by Galloway Roofing at the site.
But they already have a store on the Gasparilla Rd.

Jim always was helpful and knowledgeable. He, and his store, will be missed. Are there any rod/reel repair folks remaining in the Englewood/Placida area?

Jim was in poor health and he sold the place.
