I've had enough of wind, so we hit the Lopez to the backcountry. Morning felt like a spring outing for walleyes back home, cold and windy.
Fished mangrove edges with current, pitching jigs with shrimp bits. Had a good day, a number of keeper size snappers, 2 nice trout, a 20" red and also whiting, sheep, lady's etc. Thought it was going to be a slow day with the cold front. Go figure. Water temp was 71 by afternoon.
