Had frozen tundra friends visiting, went out yesterday to get them some fast action. So to the outside at our no fail silver trout spots, early incoming tide. No silvers, of course, but a boatload of whiting. Have caught a whiting now and again there in past years, but didn't know they were that common on the outside. Hit some oyster flats a bit later, 3 reds but all short. A beautiful day, and they had a blast.

Water temps have really gone up in a few days, was 78 by mid afternoon.
