Everglades 02-08

We left out of bud n Mary’s at 0700 and headed towards the Everglades. The wind was blowing like a hurricane and it was FREEZING so it made for a miserable ride. I thought dang Jacksonville weather followed us down here.... When we finally made it to the park we instantly realized the ride was well worth it... It was BEAUTIFUL and the fishing was great. We caught tons of baby snook, some nice reds, trout, mangroves, and I managed a nice 30 inch stud snook that nearly snatched me in the water it took such a hard run! Notice the difference in color of the fish. They were almost all silver from the clean/clear water. All in all we had a great day and I would highly recommend Captain Charles with Tezeke Charters if your ever in Islamorada.
