New to me 2017 25 foot low side Imemsa panga with a 70hp Yamaha. I can cruise around 20 to 23 in calm water and have been out 45 miles. So far I’m pleased with the boat and only one person has fallen out during a keys trip and that was while anchored.

45 miles out, with a single engine!!! Man, when I was young I would do stuff like that in Louisiana but not even that far. Did you have a partner boat? BTW, love those boats.
It's not rocket science. I don't know why more boats don't have a higher Bow Flair. They keep from submarining your boat. The only problem I've ever had.in a smaller boat is water over the bow.

The Imemsa pangas do take a trolling motor on the bow just a bit longer shaft than similar length boats. I would like to get one down the road a bit. Also to plumber1969 I did not have another boat with me when going out 45 miles. I do however have a radio, EPIRB, and a Garmin in reach so I can at least txt anywhere. Are there situations where these cannot save everyone, for sure. But I do pick days where the seas are calm when going out this far. Be glad to have another boat if anyone wants to go along once red snapper season gets back open. Thanks for all the great comments.
