Islamorada lodging with ramp and docking?

Been staying at Kon Tiki off and on for years, but just got a bigger boat- last time it was crazy shallow outside of their docks. Looking for advice on a good place to stay with similar amenities but more water. Thanks!

Breezy Palms is almost across the street from Kon Tiki and would work for you. We have the Maverick Boat Group Owners' Tournament there every year and it's a good place with ramp and slips on the Atlantic side. Several of the guys with big Pathfinders and Cobias fish it and have no problem with the depth.  Really fine folks there that run it. www.breezypalms.com

I was at Kon Tiki in June with my new Mako 234 which is their maximum size allowed. I created controversy because of its size with some of the other renter(s), it's a large looking boat (that is another story, which I won). It is a heavy boat and I had no problem getting across the shallow in front of the dock to the channel.  It may stir up a little mud  from the turbulence but it is not touching bottom. I do fully extend the trim tabs before I take off and I do have Active Trim.

Conch Ike, what size is your boat?  I have a 31 ft center console and stay at Coral bay resort which is a very nice old florida style motel on the bay side.  The grounds are very tropical and the staff is very nice.  I don’t launch my boat at the hotel as my boat is too big for their launch in my opinion.  If you have a bayboat or smaller you should be able to launch at their ramp no problem.  They also have a nice trailer storage area on the grounds.  Hotel is close to channel 2 & 5 and you can also run the ditch to Robbies which is pretty cool if you have not done it before.  Good luck.

We stay at Futura Yacht Club on the bayside, they have a ramp, dock, and plenty of water.
