King Fish and Bonita - Fort Myers

I went around 30-35 miles out on a solo trip of Fort Myers over some ledges trolling plugs and ended up catching my limit of kingfish and 3 bonita. Sadly I also lost a monster king right next to the boat...
This trip was around 2 weeks ago. The water temp was 71.9 and it got up to 63 while I was out there.

Hopefully the weather calms down so we can get back offshore!

Thanks for the post  Not easy going solo. Crews are hard to find at times.

Usually I have at least my wife and daughter on the boat with me but they had a birthday party to go to. Trying to operate the boat while reeling in a king is a challenge in its self let alone trying to gaff one by yourself haha. But I got the job done. Really hope this dang wind calms down so I can get back out there!

I actually like going by myself oddly enough, I find it more peaceful.
