Yeah, he tried to get 60% of the Rams last year, but another guy stepped up.
He has money, will not be shy about spending it. Issue is, they're keeping Gene Smith. That's fine with me, but it's going to limit your coaching options to guys who do not want full control.
Long as the team stays here, I'm fine with it. He got a bargain if it's true at 600 million. Press Conference at noon.
Reports say they stay in Jacksonville but wonder if that changes at the end of the season??
I wouldn't put any credence in any statement about how long he stays in Jax. Of course he is going to keep his options open...he's not going to say, "yeah I'll stay until I find a deal that makes more money". He needs as many seats filled while he is still in town.
You guys are too funny...not! We have forum members of many different descents on here that I'm sure don't find your remarks funny.
Seriously. Welcome to town. Nice to meet you. We hope you're passionate about the team and the community because we are. Please keep your team here so the local economy doesn't get even worse.
Even if these guys are "just kidding around" the sad reality is that plenty of people really feel this way. Hopefully they keep their comments limited to Fishing and Outdoor forums where the offense will at least be limited.

C'mon Man......you think this guy really cares about a little kiddin around....I'm sure he's heard it all before, he's only been here since he was 16....
I bet he's got some good Pakistani jokes.....
I'm just glad we didn't let a Polish guy buy us......:p:cookoohairraiser
I am assuming that Khan doesn't have any connection to Jacksonville. Correct? If so you can wave goodbye to the Jags. No reason to stay here unless you care about the community.

Too bad. I really did love going to the games.

He doesn't have any connection to LA either. And Illinois is already covered!
Maybe if we tell people that the brain is an App, they will start using it.
I just don't see there being any reason to hide intentions to move the team to LA at this point. Weaver said he wouldn't even return those calls and has waited for an owner who will keep the team here. At this point, if they were going to move the team to LA, what's the big deal and why wouldn't it have come out with this deal? Bottom line is, if the team isn't profitable, any owner could move it to any market they can get approval to do so.
He ships parts all over the world and we have a port and Toyota has some infrastructure here. Why not?
Just seems like if one was going to move the team, it would have been Weaver, who stood to gain the most from the deal. Kahn paid cash for the team and has a net worth greater than Jerry Jones. Moving the team for a few hundred million in profit potential likely means a lot less to him that it would to you or me.
