FPI 12/7 Offshore

Headed out before sunrise today, wanted to beat the crowds.   I assumed it was going to be busy considering its been a while since we had a nice day and its Saturday.   Anyway we headed out East to around 120ft and dropped in the lines.  Trolled east and at 200ft got a small cuda on a skirted ballyhoo.  Kept heading east and kicked up a bunch of fliers but no hits.  Finally around 250ft a little north of the inlet we see some fliers about 50 yards away and picked up a decent mahi.  We thought it was going to be a good day but that is the only one we got.  We tried everything.  We trolled the west wall of the stream for a while, headed out to 500 ft 27+ miles, came back into 160ft off of Vero beach.....say a half dozen big sportfishing boats in the area but nothing.

At the dock we say 2 other boats each with only 1 mahi.  One was in 85ft and one around 200ft.
