St Lucie River

Started the day fishing the hospital area and my son landed a Jack. We went to shut harbour and I caught a Spanish mackerel. Then headed to the Roosevelt bridge and we caught Jack and I booked into a bluefish. We then went to the north fork and we found a large school of bait fish being harassed by something big but a boat on full plane came between us and the fish. I threw my hands up and so did the captain of the other boat threw his hands up too.  He could have passed us on the starboard side with plenty of room. On the port side was the fish and some docks about 600 yards from shore but on the starboard side was almost a mile and half of wide river with no other boat traffic. Overall we had a nice time together on the river.
