Water Temp

Heard the water temps in the flats is low to mid 60's. Is there any action out there still. Just wondering if I should make the 60 mile trip from Belleview.

65.7 right now running next to fishermen’s cut. 

Caught some trout on the flat in 2-3’ earlier.

For future reference there’s a usgs station at shell island. 

Here’s a link to it. When it gets below 63F they close off the springs for the manatees.

Yeah, I believe you posted that a while back. Very helpful. 
Just didn't want to drive there just to fish the river.

Turner River Terror

63 on the Keton Beach Flats today.
Lot's of small Trout. Got 7 or 8  in the box and  , Maybe 25 total for the day  and one 26 inch Red.
We had to work for them. 
Biggest Trout at 23 inches was Top Water and 2 1/2 foot.

Nick, not aware of "close off the springs"? What does that mean? Manatee tours into Three Sisters still operate?

Wife drags me to the meetings every now and then.... From my understanding 3 sisters, Jurassic and house are off limits.

P.S.  Only one hit trolling except for lizardfish.  Flat calm.  Not too much grass!  No fish!!
