If you want to try something insane...cut pepperoni into bite size pieces and diced onions and put them into a skillet to brown ... after it gets some color and bleeds out some oil out add beaten eggs and make a scramble. Another version is to add the pepperoni and onion mixture to an omelet ...could add cheese too. As far as I know, I'm the lone woolf eating pepperoni and eggs . All my buddies love it...enjoy!

At Ponce Inlet in the 1970's, at the end of Beach Street where "Down The Hatch" restaurant is, there was commercial docks and a restaurant to service them (over the water) and you could get fried flounder, eggs, grits, toast & coffee for a couple bucks and change. It might sound odd at first, but fried fish and eggs is almost a natural pairing.
