Jupiter. 11/1 Lost my best fishing buddy.

Made it out for the morning trip in the Goodtimes charter with my cousin and his sons who were in town from Jacksonville. It was just us and a nice gentleman who was 90 years old and still had lots of spark. It had been a rough couple days emotionally so is was nice to get out and take may mind off things.
Flat calm. Wind was variable. Fishing was a bit off. The bite wasn’t hot but we still managed to catch some fish.

This last photo is of my dad. It’s how i will always remember him. my best fishing buddy passed away Thursday after a long battle with cancer. He is the reason I’m here, I’m healthy and I’m happy. I owe everything to him especially my passion for fishing. Fathers take your sons fishing. Sons take your father fishing. Time is the one thing we never have enough of. Use it wisely and make time for the ones we love before time runs out.
