Pulled the traps over Thanksgiving (yes, I said "thanks"). Only 2 keeper stonies - they had molted recently so thin shells and not much meat for their size. 2 keeper blues - 1 was HUGE! I'll give it a couple of weeks for the stonies to plump up a bit and try again.

Have the stonies done any better ? do you use the same wire blue crab traps to catch them or do you use the wood stone crab traps? just woundering thought about trying to catch me some any tips would help thanks.

I use wire traps but am considering getting wood traps just to see if it makes a difference. Fish carcases, old chicken etc for bait. 2 day soak.
