Biggest I have caught were just over a pound and they fight well for their size. Meat is good and since they are invasive you can have as many as you want.

Don’t eat fresh water fish but fight like a jack on steroids!
the biggest one I have caught was about 16 inches maybe 1.5 pounds.

Tamiami Trail during low water months has always been a good bet for me...  they are great fun on a 3 weight flyrod also!
