Phins out of PE on 8/15

have not been out much but went out Thursday for dolphin. Trolled the edge before going out, one nice hit but came unglued, one small bonehead that i kept for bait. Weeds on 850 and 869. Nothing on them. Out further I went to 2300 ft. Dolphin under weeds but mostly small, jacks everywhere. They were fun on jigs and some bigger dolphin came up. one 23 in the boat and that is it. they would not eat anything i gave, live bait, jigs, plugs, etc. long ride back. Better luck next time i guess.

The 23# in the boat makes you a big big winner. The fact that others would not eat livies says they had been worked over real good earlier in the day.
