MIA BCH 8/16

Worked hard yesterday putting  in the time but only getting poor results. Ran off the Govt Cut yesterday and fished 800’-1400’. Started running and  gunning but saw no real weed patches to throw livies at...pilchards and gogs. Ocean was vacuum cleaner clean. So began blind trolling with bally’s covered with  Hawaiian eyes, small feathers on the short lines, and a magnum 40 deep. Spent the later part of the day slow trolling gogs and horse pilchards 300’ - 600’ feet but no knock downs. Results for the day were one cuda release, one peanut release, one 7#  “tweener” [between a lifter and a gaffer] in the box.
