1-3 on the Clown Fish

lake Ida Clowns rolling on Saturday. Hooked 3 but 1 to the boat. Water levels are up. Water temp 87°-89°, hot. Store bought Shiners didn’t stay alive long enough in those temps.
Went to the canals to sight cast my normal spots, but being a noob at this I found the higher water levels made it difficult to see, especially with the tanic-dirty clarity.
I'm guessing without some honey holes, summer sight casting is the reason guides wait until after the summer rains end and allow water levels to drop.
But water temps and the heat had its effect on my Peacock hookups.
Come on Octoberome on October !
