Crystal River Inshore Fishing

The sun out there has been brutal. I saw water temps hit the 90's yesterday afternoon!  After it got to that mark I could barely buy a catfish hit. Trout bite in 8-10' on the incoming tide has been pretty good. Bouncing light colored DOA's will get the strike. Best quality fish have been on the down current side of bars lately. Picking off a few flounder around them as well. Lot's of cobia (and sharks) being caught out there. I ran around Saturday with the other 5000 boats. Caught 3. Largest was 47 pounds. May start sneaking out late in the day personally to beat the heat.
