Memorial day weekend

Tied up some flies and got back out on some tarpon. Checked a few spots I haven't been to in awhile to escape some of the weekend crowds. Plenty of fish but not really the size I was looking for. Should have brought the 5wt instead of the 8wt. Manged a bunch of snook in the 15-24" range on some docklights but saddly couldn't find a trout. Hopefully it can stay dry enough this winter so we don't have any dumping and the grass around stuart can recover some. Heard they are seeing a good bit of grass in Vero and Sebastian.

Well done!  Good to hear on the Sebastian/Vero area grass, wish it would happen further south

If they do not dump I think we will start to see the grass come back in Stuart. Sadly they will have to dump at some point so it won't be long lived. Atleast tarpon don't mind living in toilet water
