Heck of a day!

Today was one of the better days in a while.  I started throwing a white CAL and was picking off snook pretty steady. I had to look a bit more for the trout but got a decent one and a couple more snook and a decent mangrove snapper before going on the hunt for a Red.  The water is getting worse by the day with all the wind and now the rain. It was about 8:45 and I bumped into Topwater guy. He said it was slow for him with only two jacks. I felt a little bad about telling him I was at 9 snook and a trout and a mangrove...plus ladies and jacks. I think he was heading home and I was heading further south. It was not long after this I found a little spot of almost decent water and bait.
It was good because the wind was already whippin' and the low clouds made seeing hard...but...

A nice fat Pumpkin!    28 inches

I still had a couple baits and it was early so I headed on to another spot.....and...

Check that double spot tail...

So..I hit another spot and got another snook and was thinking how good the day was....and almost as an afterthought I figured to toss one more spot....I'm glad I did...

36.5 inches.....

Kudos to the Zero hour bomb company....the greatest 8 lb mono on the planet!... Pulled her out from under the 'groves twice till we slugged it out in deep water off of the shoreline.
There are many roads to travel
Many things to do.
Knots to be unraveled
'fore the darkness falls on you
