Fort pierce bait help

I live in Jacksonville and up here when the pogies are schooled up we have a few months where getting a days worth of live bait is as simple as getting out of the inlet and heading to the beach. One good throw of the net and the livewell is blacked out. My mom lives in fort pierce and I usually bring the boat down when I visit. My question is, is there a particular area people cast net for bait? I was thinking maybe the shallow grassy areas in the inlet or is there bait stacked up on the beach like up here in the mornings? Any help is appreciated.

Last week I had to get out of the boat and wade around a sand bar up near the magroves to  cast net some nice 10 inch mullet.  The ocean was too rough and I couldnt see any bait on the beaches. Big waves.

Your bunker would make excel ant bottom bait. If you get to the inlet area early you can buy bait off Dave. Its way quiker then wasting an hour or two of prime time chasing bait.
