Skipped a day....then

So, Thursday was *supposed* to be a bad weather day. They were forecasting over 2 inches of rain so I decided I would do trailer maintenance. This was a good idea since you never really know how far...or close to a disaster you are....Exhibit A

So you say...That doesn't look bad...but when you know it started as Kendall "super blue"...well...that's different  LOL

Then, there was the other side.....

I'm not sure a darker brown makes things better....

OK, I go to fergusons and come home with 2 new hub assy's and 2 new rims...Go to my tire guy and get 2 tires. $300 later we are on new running gear.

I launch today and the tide is very low...which is a hard way to start... I net a few baits as insurance if I get sight fishing conditions. I start throwing the Key Lime CAL and pick off a nice Trout and then a jack. Run to a spot and NADA...next spot NADA...The third spot has a couple Reds that won't eat...and a nice snook that won't bite.  Next spot I hook up but it pulls off.  A few more spots with only a good size Mangrove snapper to show.  Finally, the tide is up a bit so I can get to a spot that has had a few fish near it and...

Good...now off to find a snook... Well, a nearly 24 inch Trout...and a jumped off mid twenties snook...a bigger one broke off in the roots...and a pulled off... Man, it's after 1 PM....and unlike jhdog I just can't stay in the game all day.....but as luck would have it....
I get a little fun size snook...at 1:30...Ugh...

#9 the hard way...
There are many roads to travel
Many things to do.
Knots to be unraveled
'fore the darkness falls on you
