Kayak fishing at Port Charlotte Beach Park

Gonna fish this area for the first time next Sunday.  Does anyone have any tips on where to fish?

I've never fished up there, but looking at the map there seems to be some areas of interest.  There are lots of residential seawalls nearby, should hold some snook and jacks.  Little Alligator Creek should hold some juvenile tarpon, as well as snook, trout, and redfish.  Good luck!

Been getting reports of birds hitting bait around the Rte 41 bridge going over to Port Charlotte, the tarpon cant be far behind!  Will post an after trip update.
