Siesta Key in March

My daughter and I will be visiting my parents March 23-29 and I really want to put her on some fish. I am looking for advice on what to target this time of year in the gulf as well as the bay. Any recommendations for favorite surf spots would be appreciated as well.

Thanks.

Sorry. I realized this belonged in Central West and couldn’t figure out how to delete.

Went there first time last April with the wife. I only fished from shore. We fished on Turtle Beach right before Fisherman's Cove Resort. The fishing was great from the beach. Pompano, Trout, and Sheepshead is what we mostly caught along with a few sharks. It was a great place to hang out but the sand was a bit more coarse than the white soft sand a few miles up the road. Have fun!! Good Luck!!

Fish with sand fleas or shrimp. Also bring a spinning rod with you. You can probably pick up some jacks as they swim by.
