Red Snapper Question

Just getting back into offshore fishing after a few years off.  Looking at the FWC regulations, it looks like Red Snapper season is open year round on the Atlantic coast for fish over 20".  Is this correct?  When was the change made?  Thanks for your help, I threw one back while drifting over the Jax Beach Wreck last weekend thinking there was still a moratorium.

You have to get one within three miles. I wonder how long before they show up at the jetties.

I don't fish near shore often anymore, how far out is Jax Beach wreck? I have numbers for it just haven't been in years.

I bet you will be catching them within 3 miles this year. Now the question is this is it me who has to prove I caught it within three miles or burden of proof on Barney?  Also Miami is in deep water less then three miles let just go there to fish I guess.

my take... If the fish meet the min length within 3 miles you will have to show that you didn't go any further out on your GPS.. prior to or after your catch... and I hear our Snapper bite is 10X better here in NE Fl than in S Fl
