saltyroots makes some stellar points. i don't fish that area much anymore and haven't in a few years, never had much luck. the good thing about that area is your protected from the wind (mostly). the tricky part is everybody is forced to launch from the same spot. would have been nice to somehow split the launches between ramp road and the country club. think i'm gonna roll the dice, enjoy it and meet some new people. either way, can't beat fishing in march!!!
rise and shine, it's fishing time!

Yeah, unfortunately due to being apart of the larger Ron Jon's Beach N Boards Fest event my hands are tied logistically on where we can hold the tournament and how we can run it. The Cocoa Beach Country Club offers the large pavilion, plenty of parking, lights, etc. so it makes it the only viable option. Luckily, as you said, the area is protected from the wind, we have more raffle prizes than ever this year, and the water quality isn't as bad as last year. And because of daylights saving time everyone will get about 45 more minutes of fishing time so you'll be able to spread out and fish some areas you may not have been able to in years past. Looking forward to seeing everyone out there!
