Tarpon in January

The bait was thick off the beaches before the wind came in and blew us off the water. Tarpon were cruising north with the bait pods. I've never seen so many tarpon in January before. It was a welcomed surprise. They were eating pogies and Hogy paddle tails pretty well. Hopefully there's a few left when the wind finally quits.
