The wife and I are thinking about booking a trip to Staniel cay next January.
The room comes with a17ft skiff to use.
I read about bad water conditions in the winter in the Bahamas.
Is it worth the risk or should we consider a different time of year?
Boating /fishing would be a big part of our trip.

Better to plan for the summer months.

There is plenty to do on the inside of Staniel.  Cooler weather = better fishing than July.  But in July the water is much warmer for swimming and such.
