Went out on Tuesday and got my 2 tripletail on fly by 7:30 am then came in and went to work. Not monsters but good enough to turn into that day's lunch

Its been rough not many people fishing.  Today a few charter boats out of boca/Hillsboro caught 2 wahoo each that were posted on social media.

Coastalcatch....hope you feel better.   I'm planning to head out tomorrow if the conditions hold.  It sounds like it might be ok in the morning and then get rougher as the day goes on.

I went Tuesday and never posted.  9-2 out of BBI.   bonita in shallow, weed line/gulfstream around 600 with a few boats.   no bites on it.  

Spoke to commercial friend and he said he did not get a bite all day tuesday.  

Hes out again today, Sunday    I'm avoiding crowd and SW wind.

I was out this morning and caught some Yelloweye and nothing else.  Two commercial boats fishing off Miami got 1 kingfish between the two of them.  According to the talk on the radio among the charter boats fishing was pretty slow.

Only reports I’ve heard this week were slow, decided to wax the boat and hope next weekend is nice

If you think you're going to get consistent reliable reports from this forum...it's not happening. The 2-3 reports that come out a week are not enough to predict anything, they are typically days old, and by the time you get out there they are meaningless.  Follow people that actually fish on SM...forums are dead.

What is SM?  I used to rely on talking to other fishermen, but most of them have either retired or passed away.  Those are the best reports, especially when they call you from the boat while they are actually fishing!

Social media is a much better place to get updates. Ever since they changed this forum around, it seems like there's less and less good posts here.

Well I went out today from FPI.  It was pretty rough, definitely more than the 2-3 they predicted.  Original plan was to head out to 100+ ft before starting to troll but changed that based on the conditions.  We started trolling a few miles off-shore, about 45ft of water.  Headed north almost to Vero and then headed out.  Went out to about 125ft (about 10 miles).  No hits.  Changed things up, trolled faster for a while, still nothing.  Headed back in an got a bonita around 100ft and a king about 65ft.  Bonita hit a blue/white sea witch with a ballyhoo and the king hit a pink/white skirted ballyhoo.  The king was a nice strike, he came out of the water about 4-5 ft.  I ran a 4 or 5 line spread depending on wind direction.    Hope it helps.

That does not negate the fact that the only reason this forum is here is to show people ads. This fact is further evidenced by the lack of concern FS has for proper moderation, forum member concerns, and a forum that actually helps fisherman. It's a pretty strong consensus that this forum has been going down the tubes for years. It is known.

So true - in the past, this forum was a great place to meet members, trade tactics, learn rigging, give and get reports, etc.  The speed of information really renders a forum useless - so much easier and more reliable to get the info from other sources.  And not just FB, as some others have stated, I'm not on it either.

If we want the site to improve then we all should improve ourselves and others may follow 
I for one will try to be more timely and detailed in reporting
Site is on life support agreed but not quite dead yet so why not ?
