Has anyone rented one of the new houseboats? If so what is your opinion?

Poplin should have a post up regarding them and a full report when he gets back.

Just got back and we're WORE OUT but it was an amazing trip! Can't wait to get back, full report coming soon but lots of shrimp running, every angler had a slam each day, and houseboats were the perfect launching pad for the trip.

Some of the best fishing experiences of my life were off the old houseboats out of Flamingo. We’re really excited about the new ones and anxiously await a post or two on the new operation.

The houseboat are a real gem.  Clean, fully operational and an enjoyable way to enjoy the area.  Unfortunately we were just on the back side of a cool front that slowed the fishing but ran the boat from Joe river to oyster and back through whitewater without any problems.
