They aren’t trained to land on a person without a glove. Their talons are more than most could handle without protection. They are trained to return to their handler, bald eagles just aren’t as smart as other raptors

Your correct Salty.  They talk bad about them in AK, & Ben Franklin too.  He wanted the wild turkey as our national symbol.
