ND clearly didn't belong in the CFP.  Their key win was against Michigan, who demonstrated in their bowl game to be grossly overrated as well.  Georgia clearly should have been in over ND.

It was i who was going for the underdog. You picked FSU to beat the Gators this year,. You also picked the underdog. 

Some times it is fun to pick the underdog instead of the obvious team to win,.
