Amana 18 SEER AC Life Time Unit Replacement Warranty

I've been selling them for 12 years, along with many other brands. 

Today my compressor shorted on my 11 year old Amana and I'm getting a brand new unit under warranty.

What are the odds? This is the first failure of a compressor we have ever had on these units in 12 years and it was my house. Lol.

My pool heater is shot, microwave fried today, and water softener crapped out. When it rains it pours as they say.

That's like having a 3 yr battery & it last 2 yrs 11 months.  the warranty was for free replacement.  SOB's wouldn't make it good.  ended up getting my money back.  batteries were a lot cheaper then.

That's the first compressor you've had fail on those ASX/ASZ units??? You must be lucky... We have had quite a few fail in the past couple months alone with the company I work for...

The compressor is a basic two stage Copeland scroll used in most all brands. 

We don't sell a lot of two stage in any brand or see many in Ocala, but yes mine is the first to fail. Thank God Amana has a lifetime unit replacement warranty on top of the normal 10 year warranty most brands offer so I'm getting a brand new unit at 11 years old.
