The Patch reef fishing in the shallow water inside the edge of the reef has been red hot this past week. Mutton fishing has been especially good with plenty of fish as well as several large muttons on our last few trips aboard the Captain Easy. There's also been a mix of yellowtails, mangroves, and several red groupers we released with the red grouper closure coming early this year. Fishing has been best on the 15 to 20 foot patches especially with the right current and slightly dirty water. Offshore there have been a good amount of sailfish, blackfin tuna, kings and wahoo around as well. Here are some pics!
