 I found a weed line in 210 ft of water that had birds diving on baitfish and larger fish were busting on the baitfish at the surface.  My second cast to the feeding frenzy scored this 34" dolphin.

The King Mackerel in the other hand, I'll be smoking.  The Kings that I found were very deep.  As in 160 to 240 ft and close to the bottom.  On Sunday, the surface water was still 78.5 degrees.

how did you get the deep kings, jigs?

Yes, I was using the speed jigging technique.  If you plan on doing this, bring along assist hooks on wire, and a wire leader.  The traditional kevlar assist hooks are easy for kings to bite through.  The kevlar assist hooks will have a higher hook-up %age than wire does, so keep them on the jig until you lose the 1st jig or assist hooks and you know that it's Kings down there.
