Awesome. What do you all use if you can't get fiddlers?

I only use mud crabs you can find them under rocks and oysters. Make sure they aren’t stone crabs.

Did you catch any odd stuff with them.....ringtails or the like?

The mud crabs have stronger armor than a fiddler, that’s why I like using them. The only other trash fish That can get through there tough shells are puffer fish.

Not to hijack the threat, but they are in Mayport. Made for some fine eating at my house this weekend.

They're in right now too Bswiv. Still plenty of Sheepshead are in Mayport right now as well. These Ringtails were up to 3 pounds and bigger than dinner plates. Took a break from Sheeps after everyone ran out of Fiddlers. I ordered a couple of refill oyster injection kits and will be back on the Sheepshead Friday. In the meantime, the Trout, Reds and Ring Tails have been a nice change of pace though.

Great report BG, you're always on this fish mate!
