DIY .. back country/Key Largo/fly fishing w/ SUP (standup paddle board)

Headed to Key Largo with family next week .. Dec 9-14th
I will have an inflatable SUP (stand up paddleboard).
Any advice on the area and species? I will can afford one half day guided trip which I may have lined up. But other than that, I'm on my own. I plan to hit John Pennekamp State Park and paddle out to Largo Sound & Atlantic side flats for Bonefish.
I've heard of Tarpon under the bridges at night feeding in currents.

Any advise and tips would be greatly appreciated.

keep an eye on the winds....it has been blowing hard lately....the tarpon fishing under the bridges is further south towards Islamorada and beyond....the current rips under those bridges with the tides...lots of mangrove spots in the Key Largo area but I don't know how the fishing is there...hopefully someone with more knowledge will chime in....I fish the reef mostly....good luck and let us know how you do...

try Largo sound the very east side.  Inside the no motor zone up close to the mangroves. you will see water flowing in or out from the ocean.  Look for bonefish!  If you can get all the way through south creek   sometimes bonefish on the flats just to the south as you exit, when the tide is right.

Thanks fellas ... @Bigguy .. I was planning on paddling out to the eastern side of Largo Sound.  What's the best time of day?    If the winds pick up, I wanted a backup plan for some backcountry creeks.  Any spots you can suggest?  How are the creeks in JPSP?
