What is wrong with people.  After all, it is a football game.  To suggest lynching him is extreme poor taste, IMO (btw, Gator fan here).

I lived in Alabama for a couple years. I thought FSU/UF/UM rivalries were bad until then. We don’t even come close to Auburn/Alabama.

From what I read I would assume threatening violence on Coach Taggart. Might also be a hate crime with the other comments he supposedly said.

Apparently the fan said he was deadly serious and would go that far to "get rid of the clown"

My guess is he ends up unemployed due to this. I doubt any charges get filed.

Coaches have been hung in effigy for over 100 years.Much to do about nothing. I hope Willie coaches for another 40 years.

A lot of bad stuff has happened in the last 40 years that people now realize was wrong. I'd like to think society has evolved a little in that time...and that's coming from someone who isn't a big fan of political correctness. It's all about finding the right balance.
