Again, I'm from Ohio, thus a buckeye fan. My comments are more about not liking a 4 team system than about UCF. I can't say it anymore plain than that. If everything holds Ohio and Oklahoma will be another example of why 4 simply isn't enough. And not every thread needs to be about critter. Gnat. There is already 4 gator vs nole threads on the first page. Why are you trying to make it 5? Stop turning everything into gator vs nole.
Why I never thought a 4-game playoff would be good. It was hard trying to decide who the top two teams would be. Now you are trying to figure out who the most deserving #4 team is.
not sure they should expand the play-offs, but I think they should require conference championship games and then only allow the champion to continue on. UGA could become a 2 loss team, but when ND doesn't even play a championship game, then UGA's second loss shouldn't matter. And if you only allow conference champions to play, then that kind of gets rid of the argument of having two conference teams in the play-offs.
I think only allowing conference champions in is a good move. The SEC shouldn't get two teams in just because. And yes ND absolutely should join a conference.

I brought up UCF due to them maybe being 7th as they are in the AP. If things went bad for Georgia, Ohio State, and Oklahoma, who would move up to replace them. I can't see Georgia getting the shot if they lose the SEC championship. I think Ohio State could lose.
I rate the Dawgs as even in the SECC Game in the Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
